WELL, HERE GOES...

I want to relocate my family to Austin texas..

To start off I havn't worked in almost 3 years,I've been collecting Ny Compensation all this time..(I had back surgery),As I have recovered about 90% and am ready to start work, Its also the end of my case and am finally getting the settlement, And can finally move on with our lives.

So now, we really want to go somewhere beautiful where you get your moneys' worth..Since it isn't enough to buy a jet but definately to put some for a down payment on a home.

Now; I don't have a job yet, but am a professional Truck Driver and have a CDL B-P which i'll be upgrading soon to a CDL A with tanker and hazmat endorsements..
(I want to have everything I need to get the best opportunity for work.)

I have no clue where even to start looking for a job,but still thats the tip of the iceberg...

My Credit isn't that good(never bankrupt) but I will be paying off soon,the couple of cards I forgot about.

Now;

This is what I'm hoping to be answered by writing this;

1-How do I go about getting the requirements of getting a first time homeowners loan? Where should I go(call)?

2-What should I expect in interest rates?

3-Are there grants for first time buyers? Do I qualify?

4-How much will I be able to borrow?

5-Am I even asking the right questions?

Im sure that once these questions get answered I'll have more...
