Oh was that you who blew past me the other day?! I was trying to keep the speed limit of 60.
While I was doing 70 other was speeding past at 85 mph+!!! I swear I almost got run over in middle lane by truck going 85 or even 90 mph on PGBT

Note, I heard they were supposed raise speed limit on 70 mph on PGBT, they supposedly just haven't put up the signs yet. Have look at:

yeah yeah I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't help but laugh...how time flies. PGBT SUCKS now. I try to get on at Firewheel Parkway exit going west...it slows down to a crawl at Campbell now. I don't even bother using it anymore as I'm just paying to sit in traffic. And when they finally extend it all the way to Forney, say hello to thousands more cars clogging it up! Ugh.

Building more highways doesn't alleviate congestion - it just enables more sprawl. You'll never get ahead of it.

It is faster because most of the rush hour traffic is going in a north/south direction vs. east/west. The huge design flaw in PGBT is the short one lane exit ramps connecting with the DNT. Back WAY up during rush hour. The ramps connecting 121 and DNT are a superior design.

It's a parking lot westbound in the morning.

That and I will never get over the ****ty design for the exit ramp from 75 south onto the PGBT. One lane that is also an onramp for Plano Parkway. WTF.
