Dallas? Yeah, we had it. Just a dusting very early this morning, enough to look pretty (rooftops mostly). It was gone as soon as the sun started hitting it.

Default Storms in DFW Yesterday/Last Night?

Was doing my semi-regular weather check-in on what's going on weather-wise in the Metroplex and heard mention of storms yesterday/last night. Also, high winds & power outages this morning.

Did this system produce much precipitation if any in the Dallas area?

Our power flickered on and off for a while. The winds were crazy. I was driving up the tollway and had a gust that moved my car slightly. I later learned it was at 70mph.

No rain in Plano but high winds without a doubt and cold temps this morning but above freezing this morning. So not as cold as I expected. The lightening show last night was noticeable as the front moved in and through West Plano.

It rained around 8-9pm in Richardson; afterwards it was very windy but it didn't get cold until this morning. It's not really all that cold this morning, I was expecting it to be much colder. The problem is the wind.

I got very heavy rains for about 15 min around 10 pm? not watching the clock and hail that was about 3/8" sized. I looked out the front door and the water in the street was almost up to the curb. It was draining well, however; I could see it moving quickly. Then again around 12-1 am we got more heavy rain that I could hear on the roof but it was briefer than the first rain. I'm in Little Elm next to Frisco. The hail caught my attention when it began hitting a large window!

East Dallas (Casa Linda) here. The line of storms came through about 9:30 or 10pm last night. It rained hard for about 10 minutes followed by even more wind and then the dust. The night time sky last night was orange from all the dust. This morning... it's clear and cold but still windy.
