Well, it's 8pm in my neighborhood and the streets are slicker that greased owl chit. Hope everyone is home safe and sound.

I'm gonna see what it's like when I go home at 23:00. I didn't figure my car would handle the trip up here as well as it did.

Yes, you are right about that! I remember standing in -12 or so, with that crazy MA wind, waiting for a bus in Cambridge. I decided to just start walking home because I figured I had more of a chance of freezing to death if I stood there waiting!

Any updates on roads thus morning? Husband is headed off for the Garland - McKinney drive. I hope the roads are OK, but if they aren't, I hope he drops the bravado and turns around to come back home. Not worth the risk or even the hassle of ditching out.

Yesterday the forecast was for possible snow tonight.. now it appears we are getting it for sure. I am working from home again today.. and if I have to work from home again tomorrow I will go nuts. I'm gonna have to step out this afternoon before snow comes tonight!

The roads aren't that bad, at least around the North Dallas/Park Cities area. Just try and stick to well traveled roads(not highways) and away from bridges.

Our neighborhood is a skating rink but the highways weren't too bad.

I keep hearing roads aren't that bad, but my street is smooth slick ice, much worse than yesterday and I'd have to take the highway, I'm 35 miles from my job.

That being said, a 3 day weekend was nice, but I'd like to go back to work tomorrow to make that green stuff, so I'll likely huff it in.
