I'm not familiar with any lofts downtown. The nicer apts (at least in appearance) in the area will be Hunter's Cove, Blue Lake Villas, Bent Tree, Indian Creek and Bridgepoint. For Townhomes, look at Heritage Square or Massey Place. You might also consider renting a house, too. There are a lot to choose from...

Hi mayhem154, I'm glad to see you answer this post. I really wanted to help this person out, but I couldn't find any information on lofts. I'm not that familiar with downtown Waxahachie and I knew that you could provide a more definitive answer to the OP than I could.

Thanks! I was thinking there may be an old school off of Jefferson that was coverted to apts. It's real close to the library. I can't think of the name, though.

franklin place is located on west jefferson. it is a converted residential place.
also on the corner of main/ college street they are remodeling the old rogers hotel. there is a sign in the window with the contact info.
there are other lofts above scott furniture and the building on the corner of elm/main.
i live in 'hachie and am currently looking into lofts. any further such as safety, maintenance, noise, etc. would be appreciated.
talk again!
