I don't think there are any free programs for holders of H1B. There are however, many insurance companies that do provide insurance. You can look at clinics tough for basic care.

You'll be looking long and hard for an insurance company willing to cover an existing pregnancy. I suspect the original poster is out of luck.

Are you looking for information on medicalaid(ex. insurance) or medicaid. If medicaid, then refer the information in the below links for eligibility and contact details.

Contact Information and Websites for Organizations

Also, Is it possible to get the insurance through your H1-B Employer?

If you're here on an H1B visa, you are here for employment purposes, which does not include access to any other benefits afforded to United States citizens.

Exactly. You will not be allowed to use Medicaid. Your employer, who sponsored you to come to the USA and work for them, should provide medical insurance for you and your family.

h1b is usually contract worker--may not be eligible for health insurance through the company
but there are private insurance companies that will sell insurance to people who come into country on work visas
just don't know if they will extend policy to cover existing pregnancy--
and the OP post was in March--so this is like a dead thread
