Default Move to Wilmington/near Pa. border?

My wife and I are relocating and the Wilmington area (or somewhere near Pa. border) is on our short list of choices.

Priorities (in order): Weather, culture, outdoor activities

We're heading down to look at the area.

If you wanted to convince us to move here where would you suggest we go during our trip?

The one benefit to living in this small state is that we have access to so many other states and what they offer. Since your not specific about activities, I'll have to wing it here. We are about 1 1/2 -2hrs from Delaware beaches as well as Maryland & New Jersey beaches. A minor baseball league, the Blue Rocks, there games are held at Frawley Stadium downtown and rebuilding of the city's waterfront area. Saint Anthonys Italian festival is coming up next month, dowtown in the Little Italy area. We just had the Wilmington Flower market held in Rockford Park. We're close to the city of Philadelphia where there is always something going on. Sports, concerts, and weekend festivals. You can jump on the train and be in New York City in 2hrs, spend the day and return the same. Weather is not to severe in Winter time, but I still look forward to the summer because I'm more of a warm weather person. I've never been sorry for choosing to live in our little state.
