Just so you know, your employer (Adam Aircraft) may have an Englewood address, but it's not in the city of Englewood (or anywhere closeby). I think their located near Centennial Airport, probably in the city of Centennial.

If you want to live close to your work, you might be better off in the city of Centennial in that case.

I think tfox is right about the location of your job. We live really near there, on the north side of Arapahoe Road east of I-25, and the rentals in our neighborhood for a house are around $1800. We are the least expensive neighborhood in that area where you can still go to Cherry Creek Schools. There are also lots of good neighborhoods on the west side of I-25, don't know about prices, still go to Cherry Creek Schools. Just not sure how much you will be able to find near the airport in your price range.

If the job is around Centennial airport, then Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and parts of Parker would be an easy enough commute. Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Parker are serviced by Douglas County schools, which are excellent.

A friend of mine is renting a 4 br house here in Highlands Ranch for $1450/mo and that includes access to our 4 rec centers.

there are now townhouses right off of Arapahoe for 120K East of i25 why not buy ? your payment would eb less than 1800. If you need a house Lone tree and Parker would be my choice but most of the area around there are all pretty good.
