Not a huge secret anymore after South Park did an episode on it.

After they are done there, maybe you can recommend a good place for Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Waterton Canyon. The best kept secret in the Denver metro. Good trout fishing, long and wide jeep trail for biking/hiking and it leads to the Colorado Trail for Mountain Biking. Plenty of Deer and an occasional Big Horn along the way.

Does watching a Rockies game on the very rare occasion that they lead the NL West (or tied for it with the Giants at least) count as a secret?

I'd recommend going tubing in Clear Creek in Golden. Bring your own tube and you can walk up the paved path about 1/2 mile, get in, and ride the rapids down 1 mile to the library. Then take a nice stroll up the path again and start over! The rapids are pretty small, but it's a good time anyway. The whole surrounding area is also very nice.
