No in fact it makes them the opposite- know they have the gender advantage and proceed. There are some (like me) that come from backgrounds that harden us, and it makes us distrustful against girls that think they have an advantage. They are nutjobs and there’s no way to spin it.

Denver is known as "Menver" - so the odds are generally not very good for guys in your age group.
However, that does not mean the probability is "zero". Just expect a highly skewed single male to female ration in common social settings for dating: the night clubs, bar, sporting events, etc. Rejection is "higher" than the average for your age group compared to other places (e.g. I4 corridor in Central Florida or New York). When I was in Boulder I was athletic to the extreme but often felt "invisible".

By contrast, I had many dating opportunities at FSU with young college-age women even though I was in my 30s. It was such a bizarre contrast - the "Bible Belt Southern Belles" of the FL Panhandle were easier to meet by far compared to "liberal" Boulder. I didn't even have to try. I heard New York is similar.

Statistically, there are many exceptions to the demographic pattern. Your income likely would put you at an "advantage". But it also puts a wealthy career-driven "yuppie" at risk for meeting someone who only marries for money - kind of shallow. But you are young enough to enjoy Denver without worrying about rushing into marriage. I would still recommend Denver if you enjoy the outdoor athletic lifestyle. Just know that the odds are generally not in favor of single men statistically. But maybe you can be one of those exceptions to that pattern. Just know that marriage doesn't workout often with a divorce rate of about 50% and infidelitiy rates about the same. When I worked in Denver years ago I remember this movie had just come out and was very popular at the time. I was friends with couples in Denver/Boulder who have since gotten divorced. They were very successful professionally at the time.

It’s well publicized, look it up. They have hosted “the great love debate” in Denver to try to get to the bottom of this, twice already in the last year.

Reading the article I tended to think if you are a guy with half a brain, it shouldn't be any problem learning how to be the choice dude out of the masses. Simply give a $&*% about your appearance and the activities you do with a date and you're golden.

The thing I find hilarious about all the complaints in dating in CO is I wonder what the heck do some guys expect a good dating scene to be like? I guess if you are expecting a hook up with a different women ever night, who looks like an out of work super model, and hangs on your every word, then yea, Denver might suck. When I was single back in the '90s, in Colo Spgs no less, I never had any issues with finding dates and doing activities with women, and this was at a time with the percentages and gross numbers where much smaller than they are now. If you can't make dating in CO work for yourself now days, maybe you should pack up and move to FL where population density increases your odds.
