Hey Rc.. Yes, of course I remember you!! Wow, what you doing on the Denver forum? Small world, eh? You planning on moving out to Colorado? I hope everything has been well for you. Last I heard you moved back to Florida. Yeah, sadly, I have given up on the Seattle area and have left the Pacific Northwest for good. I will certainly miss the Cascades and the nice organic co-ops and large amount of health food stores and health food discount stores I had available in the Northwest. However, I am happier with my choice to be here in Denver.

I just recently took a stop to Natural Grocers and was quite happy with the selection and prices of this store. I managed to fork out $200.00 on my first visit to Natural Grocers. Of course, they don't really seem to have much in the way of grass fed meats, raw milk dairy, cheeses, etc, but they are good in many other ways. Their produce section is probably the best for local produce outisde of the farmers markets in Colorado. I purchased some Colorado grown Asian Pears. Even though they were not as sweet or big as the Asian Pears I would have had in Oregon, I still was happy to see a store that carries locally grown fruits and veggies even out into late September. I know Colorado is not the easiest place for large scale fruit and veggie production. Even the growing season in Washington and Oregon are much shorter than people realize.
