Greenwood Village offers just about everything under the sun. http://www.greenwoodvillage.com/

Englewood is in the South Suburban Recreational District. www.ssprd.org/

Also, good options at YMCA locations- specifically I know the most about YMCA on Yale and Colorado. Lots of soccer choices there.
GWV has lots of rec options and I believe, they give you a per year credit on things related to recreation.

Default rec district??

unless I am reading the map wrong, Englewood is not within the South Suburban Recreation District. Can you double check?

It's not. However, much of south suburban Arapahoe county has an "Englewood" address even though it's not anywhere near the city of Englewood.

There are dozens of choices. The South Suburban Rec District is superior and large, including golf. Englewood has it's own center which is pretty nice. Greenwood Village opted out of South Sub. but if you use SSRD's facilities, Greenwood gives you a rebate.

There are bunches of rec leagues, our son is in Colorado Storm soccer (http://www.coloradostorm.com/costorm/splash.asp - broken link), but from Englewood to Highlands Ranch, you're in the thick of kids rec.

Where on Moline? It crosses several districts. It doesn't really matter. We don't live in anybody's district and just choose the best for each activity. If we go swimming twice a week in the winter (we have a community pool in the summer), the difference is less than $40 a year for us.
