I'm not the OP, but it doesn't matter what I eat. I am pretty hungry quickly. Yesterday, I had two scrambled eggs. Sauteed some onions and turkey sausage in olive oil first then poured the eggs into that. I could actually, comfortably, eat 4 eggs. I ate those eggs at 8AM and at 11AM I was REALLY thinking about lunch. I certainly was never full.
I'm one of those people that hardly feels full unless I eat a TON of food or lots of volume.
Being hungry after breakfast can be an issue. Do you drink coffee in the morning? For some people like myself caffeine stimulates my hunger. And I know this is weird but when I eat a protein rich breakfast - eggs, sausage/bacon I get hungrier faster than if I eat oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts. I need both carbs and proteins for my body to be satisfied.

No, I am not a coffee drinker. I do drink tea.
I generally will eat eggs or shredded wheat for breakfast. I am never "full" or satisfied. But that's me. I know that when I eat like a 'normal' person (1500-1700 calories a day for me), I am always wanting food.
I've tried low carb, high carb, protein, no protein. It's just a fact of life.
The only time I'm satisfied at breakfast is when I eat a big breakfast: eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Biscuits and gravy at Cracker Barrel. You get the picture.

I think that is your brain and not your stomach. You may have to retrain yourself to eat smaller meals, but more of them. Not unless of course you don't eat much for the rest of the day. Biscuits and gravy are extremely caloric, not to mention terribly unhealthy.
This is gong to sound harsh but I think it comes down to the difference between want and need.

I am similar. If I have enough carbs at breakfast, the meal is longer lasting. If I know I have an early lunch planned I only eat protein. If I know there is a larger gap, I make sure to eat something starchier. I also may grab another cup of coffee/tea in the AM with a little bit of cream. Coffee doesn’t make me hungry. But a find that coffee with cream kills my appetite and the creaminess makes it feel more indulgent. Or I’ll use a quarter cup of warm milk in the coffee.
At night I drink herbal tea, potentially with a little bit of stevia depending on the flavor. Mint or ginger tea are great for post meal. And it helps to hydrate. Sometimes I’ll have a mint tea after lunch.

Oh, I only eat biscuits and gravy about once a year. I just used that as an example of something that satisfies me.
I think a lot of it is mental. If I'm thinking about food, I get hungry. If I'm busy and preoccupied I forget to eat for hours at a time.

I eat every two-three hours anyway, so whatever I do eat has to last just 2-3 hours, and that is possible. With you, I think it's largely mental and your body trying to rebel against what it perceives to be starvation. Try to keep yourself busy as mikala said, if you're busy you won't be thinking so much about eating. when I am engaged, short of hunger pangs I don't think about eating at all. The ideal breakfast would have fat, protein, and carbs but it's not always possible. I get full for hours off pancakes which are basically all carbs (plus some fat from the eggs). It's volume, too. My breakfast is a shake, and it's largely nonfat milk, which fills me up. For 2-3 hours, and then I eat again.
You could pay attention to things like satiety index. It's a semi-scientific way of at least looking at food and hunger. It varies from person to person, of course, but it's a starting point and then pay attention to your own body. Really the larger thing is that our bodies are actual pretty crap at telling us when we've had enough to eat. Rather than having that work against you, you can make it work for you. It also completely contradicts a lot of conventional wisdom. Plenty of high sugar/high carb foods have high satiety while high protein/fat, low carb ones sometimes come in quite low. Of course there's a ton of variance from individual to individual as well, but it's interesting.
Make a cup of hot tea with a pack of sweet and low. Takes away my hunger.
