I've always been able to go long periods without getting hungry. But I've also been very overweight my entire life. Now I try to force myself to eat at least three meals each day. Sometimes on weekends, I'll start working on a project and it will be after 6:00PM when the significant other starts yelling at me for not eating all day. For some reason, it just doesn't occur to me to eat. Unhealthy? Yes, but that's what happens. Once in college, I decided to see how long I could go without eating and not feel hungry. I was into my third day of water only when I got such a headache that I had to eat. I ended up gaining weight because my body shut down when I didn't eat.
