I am an athlete, I work out hard everyday and I am constantly on the go. I often drink coffee however I hate how it gives you a energy high for a short time then lets you down. What other options are out there in terms of natural energy supplements/drinks?

Edit: I already eat 6 small meals a day. Looking for something extra here.

Coffee has no calories (no energy).
It is dehydrating.

Simple and cheap: Eat a banana an hour before your workout and drink plenty of water hours before your workout.

Research coconut oil and draw your own conclusions. The coconut oil (along with other supplements) can be blended with sugar-free vanilla or chocolate pudding, low-carb vanilla yogurt (Kroger Carb Master), and water. Vanilla pudding makes a good topper for sugar-free jello. Camping type squeeze tubes (http://www.coghlans.com/images/productBig/370.jpg - broken link) can be used for "portable pudding".
