What are you thinking?
Maybe she meant to say "make an appointment with your personal trainer...". I doubt she really meant to say "therapist" as in "shrink".

I am thinking, not that I owe you an explaination, the op has asked us for opinions on her current situation. MY OPINION is she is involved in an unhealthy relationship with a verbally and mentally abusive partner. I also FEEL that she may have issues with co-dependancy and depression. A therapist (not shrink- a shrink is a psychiatrist), could help the op learn behavior modification techniques, develop healthier personal relationships (intimate, peer, etc), and discover more effective coping mechanisms. A healthy individual, both mentally and physically, would not subject themselves to the insulting and manipulative behaviors she has described.

FYI- I wouldn't say "fat" is an accurate description of a woman her size. I assume everyone who posted a "fat" comment in this thread can meet their own standards!

You just let him know that single women stay skinny because they come home, look in the frige & go to bed.
Married women come home, look at what's in the bed & go to the fridge.
