She is a very cute monster.

Jazz could pick up her toys and put them in the card board box..problem was then she could not stand it and within a few minutes she would be tossing the box scattering toys all over! ( as that was one of the games she invented that she loved to play). She was great at inventing games that she then played her whole life!

I think your monster will become a great dog as that intelligence and that wanting to please you are a great combo.

And yes, in 6 or 8 months...people will be amazed at what a wonderful dog you have, and how smart and perfect your dog is...must just be excellent genes, and intelligence...I LOVE that when people say that I must have just FOUND the PERFECT dog!

Sam would pick up things around the house...the problem is...he would then proceed to shread the item to pieces. Teaches good skills on never leaving important things laying around, or on the table, or the counter.

I wonder if it could be a reality with the right dog?
There was a video of a JRT going thru the house putting things away, opening/closing cabinets... all kinds of stuff. Went viral, that dog was so amazing!

My brother's shiba inu used to hoard objects and squirrel them away in little caches around the house.

Is the dog a Jack Russell or something like that?

We don't really know. Our vet thinks she's got some Bearded Collie and some kind of terrier as the main part of the mix. She definitely has a herder in her lineage as she wants to round us all up by nipping us in the heels.

Terrorist. But a sweet terrorist.

Our dog was a basset corgi mix, he would chase the kids around for hours in the yard. He never nipped them though. He would be anxious though, if one was in the dining room, one upstairs, one downstairs, he would run around the house checking on each one, not sure where he should be, he usually chose my Grandmother. Probably because she fed him the most treats.

When she fell, he stayed by her, licked her face, tried to help. No one was home. He never left her side, and was very upset when he could not go with her to the hospital. She wanted to see him so much at the hospital, they "broke" the rules for him...he was allowed in and was so happy to see her.

Dogs know a lot. More than we realize.

I love the picture!! She's adorable.
I remember seeing a story quite awhile ago about a dog that recognized each of her MANY toys by name, who would take the requested one out of a toybox, and probably put it back too.
