Our absolutely LOVES butternut squash(raw)....and green beans, they must be frozen though, she won't eat them if their cooked!
When she is a little constipated I give her a tablespoon of canned pumpkin (not the pie mix, just plain canned pumpkin)...she loves that too, but I don't like to give her to much...
My dog Tazz will eat just about anything, and whatever he doesnt like he rolls around in it, just like he does bird crap..yuk!!
His favorite doggie treat in the whole wide world is freeze-dried liver. That stuff has to be the NASTIEST thing in the world and it stinks so bad but he will do anything for it! He also loves tomatoes, oranges, and especially apple. He also loves ice cream but he is lactose intolerant so we can only give him a very small amount. However, he does love Frosty Paws which is ice cream for dogs without dairy in it! When he gets that its like Christmas for him!
I have 2 Pugs and a Boxer they love watermelon and stand behind me when I am making salad waiting for cucumber and tomato !!! they also love ice cubes.
I had one dachshund that liked to eat the slugs off our sidewalks in the AM. And used to eat dead ladybugs too. EEWW... she was so finicky about her other food though. She would not touch any scraps unless they were meat or cheese. She wouldn't eat any bread or noodles or chips... a high protein diet dog...
Our rescued dachsie used to hunt and eat bumblebees - the big black and yellow ones... She HAD to have gotten stung... never figured that one out. She was a garbage disposal dog and would eat absolutely anything.
