Maybe it's been around for awhile, but this review is new. Many of us spend a small fortune feeding our animals what we've decided is the best food. But it isn't possible for everyone to do so. I know there have been times in my life when I couldn't have afforded to spend what I do now. Also, there are people who don't live anywhere near a store that sells premium pet food, or a Costco. So this is a good option if either of these is the case.

Did some research on it awhile back, they list the origin of product from both USA and imported, but no where can I find out what the imported ingredients are

Does it say what country ingredients are imported from? I wouldn't touch a thing for my pets from China. Once burned I stayed burned.

Why are you against the Chinese. That's kind of racist.

OMG stelstress Laughing my butt off!!!! awesome...

Sunset, chinese dog food and treats have been responsible for thousands of pet deaths over the past few years, their pet food/trat manufacturing proedures are not the same codes as our own and thus lots of otentially dangerous things can get put in or used on pet treet/food product importated form china with a SERIOUSLY potential to make pets incredibly ill or even KILL them.

unfortunatly ebcasue necropsy cannot directly link the kindey faiure commonly associated with these tainted chinese pet treats/foods the FDA cannot actually recall the treats/ban them however even the FDA suggest not feeding many products made in china to our dogs, particularly those chicken jerky treats.

Chinese is not a race but a nationality. Anyone with children or pets should have been aware of the problems with Chinese products. Walmart and a decent brand of anything? I stay away from "imported" whenever possible as too many people I know used to make those products here in the USA.

My dogs absolutely love the Ol' Roy Dinner Rounds fro Wzl-Mart. They race to their bowls and gobble it down. Don't know what's in it but I have to buy on price alone. My guys weigh about 80 and 94 lbs.

Like I tell people adopting from the shelter, it may not be high quality ingredients but it's better than starving to death or being killed in a shelter. If it's all you can afford, you've still given two dogs wonderful lives where they've loved and have full tummies. I know, I know, the dog food nazis will pounce on me any second now.
