The Pin is great but most don’t have it setup and delay filing simply because they owe and it’s misguided

Back when we had to mail taxes, I boasted one April 15th that I'd filed early; on my way to work that morning.

Now that I efile, I do it whenever I feel the urge. I neither owe taxes nor expect much of a refund.

We pay the income tax quarterly, but the first week in February is also property tax, and with fed tax, almost $10K is gone.

I’ve learned to be patient. I wait until March. I’ve had a few gotcha’s over the years.

I already filed mine at the end of January.

Just waiting for the IRS to accept my return on 2/12.

I've used a pin for freakingever. I always did my parents taxes so they did as well.

I file the first or second week in March. I get all my forms (1099-R, W2, 1095, etc.) online so that's a lot easier than waiting in the mail. Never owed, not going to start now.

Usually we file the beginning of April because we have to wait for the k1 from our LLC ...but now with the LLC finally sold off and closed I can file when ever I want ...I will likely file in early March ....

With quite a bit of the costs I have to take from the LLC left , I likely will be able to let them keep whatever estimated I paid in for 2020 and let them keep it for for 2021

At the very last minute.

I have no vendetta against the IRS... I'm just lazy like that.
