We know the TSA body scanning and groping would become a thing of the past if Ron Paul was president. Wouldn't it be nice to GET RID of the PATRIOT act which he'd also do for sure?
actually he has more power as a senator...

And look where someone doing TV well has got us.....

I think we, as a country need to lay off celebrity status and take care of the issues. I'm not accusing you of this, please don't misunderstand me, but I am accusing a huge number of the population of voting based on popularity and the ability to give a speech.

I want someone able to get things done and get their point across. I really don't care about the delivery.

I am interested in what this man has to say.

Does this mean the media will actually pay attention to his candidacy?

I haven't voted Republican since Dole (I've been active Libertarian since), but I will vote Republican if Ron Paul runs (who is really Libertarian in his views) and actively stump for him.

I think he has a legit shot of winning the republican primary this time around. I'd be happy to vote for him if he did. No one else is on the republican ticket now I would feel comfortable with. Personally I think to address his age concerns he may want to pick up Bob Barr as his VP.

I voted for Bob Barr in 08, but agree that Rubio would be an excellent VP for the very reason you stated.
