Jon Huntsman, by his own words, is center right. The remaining candidates on the Republican side have taken the far right fringe, which only represents 20% of the U.S. Liberals represent 20% on the other end, which leaves approx. 60% of the U.S.

Huntsman is the only one that will appeal to that 60%, which makes him most electable of all of the Republican candidates.

He's a Mormon and say what you will but he is going to have struggle to get the Evangelical vote. Also Romney and to a lesser extent Perry have most of the funding from big money Republcian donors and bundlers. Huntsman is going to have to chip in some family money and run a strong grass roots campaign to get the big bucks to compete. To many of the Republican base he comes off as a RINO.

Huntsman problem is he is a middle of the road candidate in a political party that seems to going farther to the right every day.

Well Romney is a Mormon as well and he seems to be doing well in the polls. The money is a valid concern. He has the money, but it is all his. It will be interesting to see if he actually uses it.

Never say never...I remember when people said that JFK would never be elected president because he was a Catholic...A lot of people are struggling today and they want to put someone in office they feel they can trust...Someone who seems smart and decent...Not candidates who rant and rave and make a lot of noise!

I agree. It can't be stated enough. It helps to appear Presidential. Huntsman is the only one that appears to be "Presidential".

Huntsman is not going anywhere except back home. Romney doesn't rant and rave is fairly moderate compared to people like Ron Paul and Bachmann. It's so funny to see those pushing Huntsman because he doesn't really itimidate anyone.

Who feels intimidated by Romney?

I don't mean, who might be against him for various things (waffling, phoniness, Mormon have all been said), but who feels intimidated by him?

And is eliciting a feeling of intimidation an asset or liability for a candidate, especially in the general election?

As much as I love Ron Paul and what he stands for, Romney and Perry are the only two that have been blessed by the Bilderbergs. So Huntsman is out.
Really folks, if voting actually meant anything, do think it would still be legal???

Voting still legal. Where else you get 2 wolves and a sheep to vote who is for dinner?

If John Huntman wins, then nothing will change.
