By the third year of his presidency we'd have a balanced Federal Budget.

................Many of the ideas in Paul’s 11-page “Plan to Restore America” are familiar from Paul’s staunch libertarianism, as well as tea party favorites like eliminating the departments of education and energy. But Paul goes further: he’ll propose immediately freezing spending by numerous government agencies at 2006 levels, the last time Republicans had complete control of the federal budget, and drastically reducing spending elsewhere. The EPA would see a 30 percent cut, the Food and Drug Administration would see one of 40 percent and foreign aid would be zeroed out immediately. He’d also take an ax to Pentagon funding for wars................................[LEFT]

The man leads by example. Cutting the president's pay to just under 40K. None of the pretenders can even begin to come close to what this man knows about economics, liberty, and the Constitution.

It will to much common sense for the media to report on but they did report it so will have to see maybe seeing someone actually has a PLAN and details will get ahead of the pizza man, energy boy, and flip flopping mitt.

You know for someone who is not an EXECUTIVE or has EXECUTIVE Experience he seems to lead by example and show the pretenders how its done. Keeping SS and those who are still dependant on government and does not effect them but allows the young to opt out WOW FREEDOM. Balance a budget, restore our freedom, restore our money, and end the needless wars. Hmmmm just think what Paul could do if he had a 2 terms and the media gave him some air time.

You might even see the income tax GO AWAY and princples and respect of the individual be restored from a president.

This is the only Republican candidate I'm aware of which list concrete cuts to the spending side, and I'm all for the cuts he proposes. Just about everyone else only talks specifics about the tax side.

More importantly, Paul is the only candidate I believe will actually do what he says when he gets into office. Lately, there has been a LOT of politicians who say everything during an election, but turn around 180 deg. when they get into office. Paul at least acts on what he has said while in Congress.

This is the only candidate that tell you exactly what he is going to know and where and how it can be done.

Now like someone who offer HOPE and CHANGE.

Thanks for posting the details (sort of) I now know I will NOT be voting for Paul. FYI, I notice many of the things Paul suggests are he same old GOP issues and ideas, the details show he is no way any different from the rest of the field. Oh except for the silly salary thing, the salary really isn't his call and I expect the most powerful person in the country to be paid an executive level salary. Oh well, good thing to put all that info out there, that way more people such as myself can look at his ideas and either embrace or reject them, I reject far too many of his ideas to be able to support or want him in the Whitehouse.
