I think of most of them as pot smokers whose only real wish is to have pot and all other drugs legal so they can pick some up more easily like at the corner store or gas station.
For most libertarians it seems all about easy drugs, not about ending all welfare, Medicaid, etc.
I'm always hearing supporters of Ron Paul talk about drug legalization. That's even fine with me if and only if all drug addicts were tossed off all welfare programs and not given free health care when they OD, no free rehab paid by taxpayers.
His open borders stance also bothers me -- how do we allow in millions of uneducated low skilled types who have no way to make it on their own with our very high costs of living, allow them to take any job at any wage and vote in our elections and think they won't turn around and elect socialists who promise them everything they want no matter what it costs taxpayers?
My same feelings. I guess I may not be a Libertarian (sp). I want the government to have some power for the good of the people but, not to exercise it so much. A pipe dream, I guess. Ron Paul makes me nervous.
I've never really saw the Paul crowd as much that way as I have the average Palin/neoCON/Tb'er type cheerleaders...snip...
I beg to differ. I am not a Ron Paul supporter or a Sarah Palin supporter. I would not vote for McCain because I didn't think she was right or ready to, in case, assume the role of potential President. But, I haven't seen such over the top behavior out of her supporters. What reporter/jounalist rents a house next door to a politician to try and get dirt on them.....? And the result a lot of just smear stuff.

I think your bias is showing......
I think you mean Palin, not McCain

How does he make you nervous? I'll try to clear up any questions you may have

I meant if I voted for McCain with Palin as VP, she was in line for the Presidency if something happened to a man 70 years old.
I think I said what makes me nervous. I don't want to completely dismantle all programs with the Federal government and I darn sure don''t want open borders. We are colonized enough already. There are other things that I would have to go back and research and I don't have the inclination or time right now.....should be working.. stealing company time.... I will try and come back to it later.

Annie...that nervousness is a confirmation your brain and reasoning power...is working fine! Be Thankful

It is easier than that, now.
I get it delivered for the same price.
Kids can get drugs all on their own, easier than they can get alcohol.
Actually it doesnt have to do with ron paul at all, it literally just pertains to your online persona.
Notice its the ones with female names. Who goes onto a political forum looking for dates except those that live in their moms basement?
