and if you really believe this I have some waterfront land I will sell you in NM?

BTW, you refer to being in the military right now on some threads, being a vet and used to be in the military on a few others and yet on others, you mention living abroad as a child and how other countries hate Americans, which maybe sounds like you came from a military family, I wonder which one is correct? And, I will tell you right now, most countries do not hate America.....

Hate hate hate. Get a grip no one is attacking the troops or hating anyone, funny thing is almost every time I see someone make this sort of statement it is one of Pauls followers trying to bear their own self imposed cross. Try discussing the topic or sit back and simply read and maybe learn, or better yet ignore what you do not like hearing since that seems to be the normal tactic.

I am referring to YOUR post that used the word several times, and I see you missed the point entirely, do try to keep up.

Hm neither one of my parents were in the Military. My paternal grandfather and his brother were, so is my uncle and yes I did live abroad growing up... Until I was 18. I am almost 28 now. What is your point?

You realize being a Veteran means you served in the Military? Or do you think it means you have to be currently in? LOL.

FEDERAL DEFINITION: under Federal Law a VETERAN is any person, who served honorably on active duty in the armed forces of the United States. (Discharges marked GENERAL AND UNDER HONORABLE CONDITIONS also qualify)

So yes I am a Veteran because I served in the Army and I have a Honorable Discharge like most Veterans do. Once again, what is your point? I never said I am currently serving. I haven't served in a while. I do have friends who are still in. That's about it.

And yes I do stand by what I said. Most countries do hate Americans ( and by that I mean our government that represents us)

Interesting isn't it, how little respect Mr. Paul and his supporters actually seem to have for the military and that little thing called the USCMJ.

"It's not that we aren’t passionate about candidates like the rest of America. It’s all about the rules. Want to donate to your favorite candidate? Great. Want to go to a political event or rally? Sure. Just don't do it in uniform, use your rank, or identify yourself (overtly or implied) as a representative or spokesperson of the military."

'Nuff said.

P.S. In case anyone is unclear about the regulations:

"DoD Directive 1344.10: http://www*.dod.mil/d*odgc/defen*se_.../13*44-10.html
4.1.2. A member of the Armed Forces on active duty shall not:
4.1.2.1. Participate in partisan political fundraising activities ... rallies, conventions (including making speeches in the course thereof) ... Participation includes more than mere attendance as a spectator.
4.1.2.5. Speak before a partisan political gathering, including any gathering that promotes a partisan political party, candidate, or cause."

but you have indicated by your comments about things like, you have to show Id that you are now in the service. That was my point. Now, you have made it clear, you are a vet. Fine, good for you, yes, I am very much aware what a vet is. My father was a Navy Capt, my brother served in Nam, my brother in law was a retired AirForce officer and our son served in Desert Storm. A few of our friends gave their lives in Nam. I know very well what a vet is!!!!!

Could you name the countries other than communist countries that hate us? I will suggest a few I know that do not: Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Canada, Israel, and many of the Caribbean countries for starters. None of these are Communistic nor are they countries filled with terrorist or are they socialistic except for some issues in Germany.

A falsehood? Your posts don't even try to find the truth, that much is obvious.

FACT
"Paul has collected $95,567 in campaign contributions from individuals who listed their occupation as one of the branches of the US military or US Department of Defense. That's more than any other current presidential contender, including, notably, President Barack Obama."

Military Donors Prefer Ron Paul - OpenSecrets Blog | OpenSecrets

FACT
Combined, six other Republican presidential candidates listed donations from members of the military totaling about $9,000. Our most-to-least breakdown: Herman Cain, $2,850; Mitt Romney, $2,750; Michele Bachmann, $2,250; Newt Gingrich, $500; and Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum, $250 each.

On the Democratic side, Obama’s campaign received more than $16,000 in donations from members of the military.

After we conducted this rough check, Paul’s campaign spokesman, Gary Howard, said by email that their numbers showed that Paul garnered $34,480 from members of the military; other GOP candidates fielded $13,848 and Obama took in $19,849.
