This is showing Romney's true colors, not only does he support NDAA and the patriot act, along with NAFTA/GATT/WTO etc. ... He also wants to force on all Americans a national ID card! Get ready for checkpoints on every highway between states should this man get elected and have his way in office!

Romney Supports National ID, Government Pre-Approval of Working | Cato @ Liberty

This BIG government bankster shill is all about growing the police state not only in this country, but around the world. This is the George Bush New World Order, 1000 points of light neo-con professional progressive candidate of choice America!

And this in spite of the fact that many states have already rejected the national ID act - and he pretends to be about states rights! ...

By law the Social Security card is not supposed to be used as a federal ID card, despite the fact that most Americans have allowed it to be used just that way.

Is illegal to laminate a SS card, and one should never be carried on the person in case of ID theft, just like the birth certificate. Do i like SS? No i don't ... It is legal slavery. Does that mean a Federal picture ID is okay because we have SS? No it doesn't, it is just further deterioration of our privacy and our rights to move from place to place without being treated like criminals or suspected terrorists in our own damn country!

We know the ones here on C-D who are all for having a Nazi style BIG government ("show me your papers!") police state here in the US ... Good luck trying to sell that to the rest of us!

I bet you can't point to one poster who has advocated a situation here where people are asked to see their papers.

If Mitt gets elected, nothing is going to change and in 4 years people will have the same "ANYONE but (insert the president's name here)" mindset we have had for as long as I can remember.

I'd say it is very likely either Mitt or Obama will get elected, unless somehow Mitt has a Gary Hart moment before November.
