Or are they more politically diverse than that?

Any Mormons here for Gingrich? Paul? Santorum? Obama?

Probably. And? Who cares? Mormons usually vote Republican any way. No news there.

A lot of, not all, black folks voted for Obama in '08 because he is black.

A lot of, not all, white folks voted for McCain in '08 because he is white.

Sorry, not a Mormon.

My family that is Mormon will not vote for Romney. They are all for Paul.

(2 on one side of family, 4 on the other side plus their Mom, step dad and 2 half brothers.)

I'm sure it will be a factor for many of them, but not for all.

I was a die-hard Huntsman backer. Now, I'll probably vote for Obama. I certainly don't hate Romney the way some people do, but I really believe that Huntsman will end up running again. I'd like to see that happen in 2016 as opposed to 2020, and as a Mormon, I will always defend Romney's religion when it becomes an issue with other voters. I never have understood picking a President on the basis on where he goes to church on Sunday.

I don't see Huntsman running again, the GOP base is too extreme.

Well I am not a Mormon, but I certainly get a accussed of it a lot lately...lol. I don't mind at all though. I have met many people of the Mormon faith this year and they are some of the nicest people ever....including Katzpur. I will say that many of Romney's most dedicated supporters are LDS, but then there are people like me who just really believe he should be president that aren't. There are over 6 million Mormons in the Republican Party so it is logical that many of them support Mitt Romney.

I am Mormon, and would guess that he would get a majority, but certainly not a landslide. Now, Katzpur being a Mormon living in Utah voting for Obama? Now thats a rare bird, good luck with that! Most Ive talked to that werent for Romney had the same concerns many other conservatives have had, that he's not conservative enough......Thats what I like about him...

Most people tend to favor their own kind. That's human nature.

That's interesting. Also, what I have found interesting was that most of the LDS I talk to had no interest in Huntsman at all, except Katzpur. Of course they are Romney supporters and there is some bad blood between the two, but you would think some would lean that way a little.
