Rick Santorum invoked chains last summer to warned Iowa voters that health care reform would lull citizens into government dependency. “They will put you in chains called ‘Obamacare,’ and you will never break away,” Santorum said.
If Obamacare doesn't get repealed or fixed, Santorum will have been spot on. We'll be trapped in Obamacare with no way out.
What makes you think that blacks are so dumb that we cannot tell the difference between actual racism and figurative speech? Why would we as blacks, latinos women, elderly and the poor vote against our own best interest? What makes people like yourself believe that we can be mislead by someone who obiviously cares more about maintaining his wealth and hiding from the American people something as simple as a tax return? Most people thinking people will not vote for a man who runs on a platform of being a job creator but yet took joy in firing people and bankrupting companies. People who think on thier own would wonder why a presidential candidate would rarely mention their record as governor of a state that he once ran into the ground.
If you are black and you are OK with this, you are brain dead. I'm not saying that this is a huge issue but what he said was incredibly insensitive and condescending. Stop being so willfully ignorant. Or are you that dumb that you don't realize when you have been insulted.

To be honest with you, the lack of black outrage over such a racially insensitive comment makes me have less respect for black voters as a bloc. It appears that they will turn a blind eye and a blind ear to those who are "on their side." Had it been a Republican, Jesse and Al and all of the other race profiteers would be marching in the streets.
It's a disgrace, but black people it up. Absolutely disgusting.
I agree the silence is impressive.... Had any other white man in the USA said a thing like that, it would be a good 6 months of msnbc, et.al., media and hype with every Black racist we know getting his word in edgewise.
