All you have to do is see that its a Ron Paul video to know what was really going on.
"delegates where told by the RNC(GOP establishment) to chant USA to drown out the Grassroots delegates who were upset about the power grab. This woman was apparently caught in the crossfire."
Agreed, even the Puerto Rican media acknowledged that it was a case of "wrong place, wrong time". It's generally well known that if a Puerto Rican wants to get involved in national politics they have to have really thick skin. Zoraida Fonalledas has been involved with the RNC since the early 1990s. Her grandfather, Rafael Martinez Nadal was a huge figure in Republican Party serving as President of the Puerto Rico Territorial Senate in the 1930s and 40s.
Case in point, look at the applause and standing ovation that Luce Vela Fortuno got when she introduced Ann Romney. Watch tonight when Luis Fortuno speaks ... I guarantee you the applause will be heard all the way in San Juan. Both the TEA Party & the Republican Party establishment love Fortuno.
I didn't notice people walking out. Nevada was announced the way each state was. They were only keeping track of Romney's votes because they knew he had the nomination. They were also announcing votes for Santorum.
I'm suprised to see you were following Paul. Your posts usually seem very left wing.
Ron Paul won Nevada, but they only mentioned Romney.
I have supported Ron Paul for years. Maybe you are like many others here who figure that those who do not support mainstream Republicans like Bush, McCain and Romney must be left wing.

The Dems don't seem to care about lying either.
So what's the point of this post..that the Repubs lie too ?
They all lie. They want you on their side, they want your votes.
Since neither party has any real plan the best they can do is attack the other side.
What better way to attack then to exaggerate and lie about what the other side will do when they get in power.
-Blacks will be put back into chains and made slaves
-Women will have all their rights taken away
-People all over the US will be dying in the streets due to lack of a health insurance card
-The rich will get to keep ALL their money and pay $0 taxes
Notice though that neither side is calling the other a warmonger. That's because both are pro-war and have no intention of ever ending this War on Terror.
... after 4-years, still doesn't seem to have a clue about a real solution! Enough is enough!
You conveniently overlook the central role the GOP has played in obstructing proposals from both sides of the aisle to deal with the national problems. The people's house - the U.S. Congress - is largely responsible for inaction. It takes two to 'tango,' and the GOP has forgotten how to dance.
From Charles Pierce, linked above:
Quote:
There was Jack Gilchrist from New Hampshire, the metal-shop owner, who was briefly an important Romney surrogate until it was revealed that his company took a few cool millions in small-business loans. There was Sher Valenzuela, running for lieutenant governor of Delaware, who talked about how she and her husband Did Build their business. She also talked about her husband, who was a soldier, and her father, the former drill sergeant and "a blue-collar union guy." She did not talk about her sideline, which is giving PowerPoint presentations to people — probably, I am sure, not in convention centers built with tax dollars — on how to suck up government contracts. There was a similar thing going on with Bob McDonnell, the slippery, up-and-coming transvaginalist of Virginia, who proved that his family Did Build It, by having his father join the army, his children doing the same, and himself, finding the "same job" in government once held by Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry. After listening to this laughable bafflegab for a spell, you begin to wonder whether or not the U.S. military is a rather large venture-capital concern with anti-tank weapons.
The GOP does lie, repeatedly. But, they're not lying to those who are going to vote for Obama. Just as they've done since before he took office, they're lying to THEIR OWN SUPPORTERS!
It's one thing for a politician or party to lie to get your vote. But, to lie when they already have your vote is something entirely different. I can't imagine why the GOP's supporters aren't upset about it. I sure would be and I'd have to wonder just what the hell they're lying to me for.
Among the GOP base, there is constant harping about somebody else, some "other," who is Subversives. deliberately, assiduously and with malice aforethought subverting the Good, the True and the Beautiful: Commies. Socialists. Ragheads. Secular humanists. Blacks. ****. Feminazis. The list may change with the political needs of the moment, but they always seem to need a scapegoat to hate and fear.
Did you watch all of them from 7:00P on or only the ones the cable news channels bothered to show because if you watched all of them, you wouldn not say that, I don't think. John Kasick and Rick Santorum by far had the best speeches and best delivery , followed by Nikki Haley and Ted Cruz but I had to tune in to C-SPAN to see them.
I don't know why channels like Fox News go all the way to Florida to attend the convention with hordes of on air personalities just so we can see them chatter with each other like any other day. I give their coverage a D -. It seems to me they went there just for easy interview access to big names.
I watched all of the speeches from start to finish on CSPAN.
Kasich nor Santorum were my favorites, I thought Christie related the best to the audience and made the best points during his keynote speech.
