That's quite a assumption there buddy. You don't know, the same way no one else on C-D knows, why they didn't join the military. But, unlike you, most people find it a non-issue.

Do you have a link to support what you seem to think you know?

I don't care.
But are you willing, or determined, to send others to war?
That's what Romney wants to do.

Not his kids, yours.

But, this thread isn't about Obama, or McCain, it's about willard's 5 children not vlounteering, not one of them, not even one.
Oh, okay then. Because they don't want to, don't have to, and didn't choose to.

Funny, I thought this thread was about a presidential candidate sending troops into harm's way, when they have no skin in the game.

How are his sons "avoiding" the military when it is voluntary?
By not signing up.

Under old British tradition...there is an important thing with most of the upper class...It is the principle of service- of duty- of having power and taking care of those below you...In America the privileged and wealthy look upon the armed forces as something for poor people..for the lower class.....American elite are not about service- they are about using the nation..as if they were a private herd of cattle- some they send out to die..to ensure their wealth through undeclared - unwarranted war..>Why would an elite sacrifice his son to what he knows is a corrupt cause?

It seems no one in the Romney clan in years past has ever served in the military.

I believe young prince William is currently in Afghanistan for the second time.
