I didn't really appreciate just how delusional and gullible today's GOP has become, till I heard Romney himself was " shellshocked" that he lost. He didn't even have a concession speech ready, just in case- completely snookered by Rove-Fox-Limbaugh-Morris's view of reality. And a guy with Mitt's judgment wanted to be president?

The GOP is in a similar spot to where the Dems were in 1984- losing the popular vote in 5 out of 6 of the last elections. The Dems responded by marginalizing their far left flank, and broadening their appeal to the electorate by recruiting pro-gun, pro-military faith-friendly candidates.

The GOP needs to do the same thing in reverse. Restore trust in science, embrace the new demography, stop demonizing the oppositiotopless their "faith" out of legislation, stop treating women like brood stock, and extend their aversion to Big Government to people's bedrooms. Otherwise, they're on their way to obscurity.

We need at least two viable parties to make democracy work. Liberal party vs Conservative party is OK- but Liberal Party vs Crazy party? No bueno!
If Reps become too much like Dems we will have one party rule just with two different names... the one called "Democrat" would still win.

Issues like giving women free birth control are trivial compared to record deficit spending and all the ramifications of it.

But more importantly, answer the question that was asked so I have more than the typical one-line political speak to deal with.
I never said the deficit didn't exist prior to the past four years. But it has become much more out of control since then.

Liberal mindset is astounding.

Tell me how taking money out of the economy and decreasing the value of the dollar, improves the economy? Tell me how massive spending, which results in lower GDP growth in the future, makes things better. Tell me how record deficits, which results in record debt, which increases the need to take more money out of the economy, and give it to big fat bankers, in the name of interest, makes the poor people better..

Honestly, I think if R's moved more to the center, D's would start moving more to the left, and the center would still win. In lots of instances, the D's are inhabiting the political space right now where the R party used to live. I know some of you don't want to believe that--you're convinced that every democrat is a socialist--but it's true. I don't think you get how far right the new GOP has shifted since they first started coming back into power with Nixon.

Before the elections you had Obama at fault and the road to success for you was to get Romney in WH...
That did not work out well.. did it???

So now you turn around and BLAME the people??

Remember, no one WHO is successful is cuz of himself/herself alone.....

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges

Clearly people, who vote in policy makes who pass stupid bills like Obamacare, hold responsibility for their vote, do they not?

But YOU are the one who doesnt seem to understand the difference between OPPORTUNITY, and guarantees..

EVERYONE has the opportunity, if YOU dont take advantage of the opportunities, and YOU allow policy makers to pass bills to limit those opportunities, then yes YOU are to blame.

YOU sell your vote, for stupid things like cell phones, and then you blame Republicans for not agreeing with it. thats dumb...

People who are successful, do so because THEY seen a vision, and THEY offered value, and THEY offered opportunities. Government doesnt create the mindset, they only hinder it.

There isnt a billionaire in this country that got so, without employing hundreds of thousands of people..

We didn't have the economy shedding 8.8 million private sector jobs in just two years. We didn't have lower tax rates, while fighting two (unfunded) wars. We didn't have a lower number of people employed in private sector (by over 3 million, BTW) than a decade earlier, 2010... a wasted decade of economic growth.

And not having a clue of that, much less the implications, will of course result in the rhetoric you subscribe to. Instead, how about addressing my question that you've now avoided two posts in a row?

The job losses stopped before Obamas stimulus bill was funded.
And we do have lower tax rates, and the wars were indeed funded, (the same way the deficits are currently, that you applaud)..

Your wasted decade of economic growth, began the minute Democrats took over Congress.. Bravo.. lets celebrate and blame the Republicans..

Thats dumb, but here you are...
