Sorry, but the GOP really had/has a circus side show, aka...freak show candidates.

Yes, I'm sure you know all you need to know about Senator Sanders...

I'm also sure that you watched his entire filibuster back in 2010.

Senator Sanders Filibuster - C-SPAN Video Library

It was a bona fide filibuster, not some self-serving idiot reading Green Eggs and Ham.

BTW...Obama is a moderate and that is why real Progressives are hoping a real Progressive such as Sanders or Warren will run... The GOP has gone so far right that unless they act bat crap crazy, the radicals don't support them. They would not recognize a moderate if it bit them on the butt.

Sanders is a true Statesman and I cannot think of even one Republican representative that is even good enough to shine his shoes. He's waiting to see of any other candidate is going to address the issues that need to be addressed and if they come up short, he's going to run. He will make them discuss and debate what needs to be front and center. Go Bernie!

I remember stagflation and 20% interest rates.

I agree. If Bernie gets on stage with Hilary et al., he is going to lay into them like nothing you've seen before. Probably the only guy that will weaken Hillary.

you and I can both remember those days: I was a real estate agent, I really can relate. When someone says, just before Reagan thus and so, I have to wonder how much they remember? The interest rates on home buying continued to rise under Reagan, but that was a continuation, not something he created. By the time he had been in office a few years they were headed down again.

Just think if someone like Sanders was elected President, someone who would drive legislation that would benefit 90% of Americans in this country.

Are American voters smart enough to vote for this? Of course not. Sanders has no chance, and his intellectualism will be banished to the sidelines even in primary debates. Moderators would ask him questions about his hair, or home grown maple syrup or something.

Default Bernie Sanders Reveals Why He Might Run For President In 2016

I'd probably vote for Bernie. He sounds very reasonable whenever I've heard on the radio or in a TV interview. He has a pretty solid grasp on things and a clear view on what needs to be done.
