Brat couldn't even answer a simple question about the minimum wage. Not ready for prime time.

You seem to think your government is responsible for keeping you happy, and that you shouldn't have to pay taxes on the grounds it makes you sad. You are wrong. The government is not your mommy, its job is not to keep you from being sad.
But...it is the governments job to steal her money to make others happy????

The voters in VA's 7th district would disagree. Oh wait, they already did.

Yes he did. You never watched the interview. All because someone said.

All I know is that if you take the long run graph over 200 years of the wage rate it cannot differ from your nations productivity. You can't make up wage rates. You have to raise productivity then the wage rate follows. You cannot artificially make up wage rates they have to relate to productivity.

She indeed justified her collecting of SS on the basis of her having no choice in the money having been confiscated, thus no qualm with getting it paid back to her.

As much I find the SS/Medicare system repugnant, I believe exactly the same way. Were I allowed to opt out of paying the tax under the condition I never collect a dime in entitlement, I'd sign that deal tomorrow, not a second's hesitation either. But I don't have that choice. I am forced against my will to participate, so hell yes, I will attempt to collect at least every penny that was every taken from me. No doubt about it.

Rand didn't steal money. She got some of what was taken from her against her will paid back. And her justification for that was the basis of the Ragnar Danneksjold character in Atlas Shrugged.

I agree. Many are forced through the ACA to participate in a health insurance program they do not want. But surely no one would object to their going to the doctor after being forced to make the premium payments?

Well, since I doubt that you are familiar with Ms. Rand's philosophy (if you were, there would be no need for you to cut and paste from another site and present it as your own thought) I felt no need to dispute it.

Don't you just love when people are "forced" to pay money to the government and when they are allowed to get it back the left rants against it. If I had a choice I wouldn't be force to pay SS either and would save and invest on my own. But since I am forced lefties better damn well believe I have every intention of taking it back.

Fail and divert. Now can you at least talk about Rans philosophy instead of attacking.

Important: Don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of. At minimum understand your personal finances, be smart.
When did I say there weren't selfish people and those willing to scam others? Nice attempt at deflecting.
