Because no one who finds Limbaugh credible was going to vote for anyone other than a Republican in the first place. Rush preaches to the choir. Thus, he doesn't influence opinion. He reaffirms it.

That being said, I don't care for him and have not listened to him for years. I doubt that his opinion can sway very many people.
