Hey Einstein, that doesn't just mean the Republican base.
There is a reason we have 2/3 of the states with conservative legislatures and Governors(not just Republican)
How many US Senators are Conservative(not just Republican)?
How many House members are Conservative(not just Republican)?

Reality says, since the experiment of 2008, where the Liberal masks came off to expose the socialists of the Progressive Era that went into hiding and rebranded liberal, the nation has trended Conservative.

A plurality of 538 EC votes are in states that would not elect a conserve for POTUS. Winning depopulated states does little, unless the Bison Suffrage movement has gotten them votes in those wastelands. The populated states will, as always, choose the POTUS. Most are on the coasts!

He is also financially conservative.... That makes him Conservative, like I said.
Socially Progressive... Makes you a Progressive, willing to further compromise the Constitution.

Cruz doesn't stand a chance. Zero, zip, nada.

Once he gets trounced, you can come back here and blame it on the liberal media, the establishment GOP base, or whatever type of denial system you'd like to cling to.

Yeah, it's Ron Paul once again. The only difference is Cruz pot himself positions to be criticized.

Social conservatives cannot win the presidency in modern times. Period. We will do everything we can to prevent that from happening. I do not want America to turn into a theocracy.

And Hilary hasn't?
Love to see them 2 debate.
I would also like to see Ted debate both Jeb & Marco, on the issues of illegal aliens and Common Core

Ever hear of people voting for the lesser of two evils? I certainly would look for a third party but that is a wasted effort. Cruz would win Arizona and Hillary would win the electoral college.
