That - is not how morals clauses work. If there is one (and who knows if there is), it'll be put in terms of "MUO spokespeople and executives" or somesuch legal BS. Not that it matters overly much, because Trump has already, in his oh-so-dramatic lawsuit, declared that it's about him and his First Amendment rights. Kinda hard to argue that it's just a simple contract matter having nothing at all to do with Trump himself after that.

How someone who wants to be president can argue that a cancelled TV contract infringes on his first amendment rights, that's of course an entirely different question.

Chances are Univision (who, as you may recall, are the ones who paid MUO for the broadcast rights in the first place) will write off the 13.5 million they've agreed to pay and that'll be the end of it. "Keep the money, we don't want the product any more" is likely to play quite well.

Other partner, not partners. The MUO is a joint venture with - NBC. Yeah, that may put a slight damper on things.
