I believe that drastic blunder by Trump WILL drain away his support system over the next days, weeks and months.

I've heard many Former Trumpsters express displeasure BIG TIME, with Trump, for signing the pledge, which Trump had indicated he would not do.

You are the definition of a fickle Trump supporter. You were all over this site talking up the greatness of Trump as a candidate. You thought every position he took and every utterance he made was gold. But all that went away because he did what he needed to do to ensure he was on the ballots in every state so supporters like you would be able to vote for him, and now suddenly, all the things you loved about him--which are all still there--are of no more importance to you.

You are the "emotional, fickle so-called supporter" you are railing against. Your abrupt change of heart proves you actually cared nothing about what Trump was actually saying, you only liked him to begin with because he was thumbing his nose at the GOP. A great criteria to base your vote on.

As these foolish illegals continue to loudly protest, more people will get a clue and that will help Trump gain more support. Many students both high school and college were unable to find jobs not to mention military veterans.

Trump's candidacy is the wake up call the citizens needed. I don't think you will see his support decrease.

I found this cute video promoting Trump and it "racist" doesn't play out here and that is other thing that they are trying to use to beat Trump as they "shake in their boots":

THEY’RE BACK! Women say ‘Donald Trump gives hope to black lives’ | The American Mirror They are SO right since illegals take jobs that they traditionally do especially in the inner city. It is a misconception that ALL blacks are Democrats.

Hispanic Trump Supporter vs. CNN Panel: "Do You Want Our Tax Dollars To Support Illegal Immigrants?" | Video | RealClearPolitics I saw a poll where over 40% of legal Hispanic citizens oppose a pathway to citizenship for illegals. Yet some more votes in the making.

Trump may lose some people over the loyalty document but I think the gains that he will see as more people become aware of his stand will more than compensate for that loss.

Hillary was finished before she started as was Biden. That really old guy, see I can't remember his name, oh, Sanders, same as Hillary. Gore? Is he still around and if there were others, I forgot their names yet another positive sign for Trump!

Trump has the legal citizens of the US watching and listening. As the illegals become more militant, it will just get better for Trump.

If his signing the loyalty document gets him the nomination in the end, I see it as worth it as I am sure he does. It will be interesting.
"As the illegals become more militant, it will just get better for Trump."

Agreed.

I'm fine with someone changing their mind after having thought more about it. but if a candidate consistently does that, he(she) loses credibility. Considering Trump's ability to just say and do whatever he wants and not have it come back on him, I'm guessing this flies through as well.

Interesting, every other head-to-heads from McClatchy-Marist and Quinnipiac doesn't comport with this survey. But SurveyUSA is an excellent polling firm, historically speaking. We shall see.

great point and I still say, all these polls are set up to prove what the polling company would like to prove. I am not concened with any of them right now. Let's wait until we have had, at least the Iowa caucus.

It doesn't compute. The poor alternatives from either side are why they went to Trump in the first place. So they will forgive blunder and stay with Trump.
Maybe for awhile, but not through the long, hard campaign. His signing the pledge when most feel he will not honor it will hurt him for starters. Then his mouth keeps flapping as he continues to insualt others. I hope that isn't the kind of person we want to run our country.

Trump 44%, Biden 42%
Trump 44%, Gore 41%

Trump wins 25% of the black vote vs Hillary Clinton with 16% undecided ??????

he also wins about 14% of Dems with about 15% undecided ????

You need a mountain of salt for this poll

Not I, Kitty. Trump's very appeal was peeled Away when he joined the ''Go along to get along'' vile political system w/ his signature.

And, I know I might be the most vocal on this issue....But not alone.

A couple of points.

1. We dont have free market capitalism in the U.S. We have always had a mixed economy.

2. Neither side is advocating for a more or less intrusive form of socialism in the economy than we already have.

3.Its a horrible point based on the 2 points above.
