Yes. I believe that. I think using atomic bombs on Japan is justified, however horrifying it might sound.

However, time has changed, we as humans are more and more civilized. That is why there should always be rules of engagement. But fighting a political correct war is rather foolish. I think this is Dr. Ben Carson's main position.

Carson made the comments on Monday in an interview with Fox News' "America's Newsroom" host Bill Hemmer. Carson suggested there shouldn't be any rules in fighting ISIL.

"Our military needs to know that they’re not going be prosecuted when they come back, because somebody has said, ‘You did something that was politically incorrect,'" Carson said on Fox News. "There is no such thing as a politically correct war. We need to grow up, we need to mature. If you’re gonna have rules for war, you should just have a rule that says no war. Other than that, we have to win."

Ben Carson: Military Shouldn't Worry About Fighting 'Politically Correct' War

I completely agree with him.
He is exactly right. The reason war should be avoided is because it is by its nature ugly . Asa Soon as you try to fight a war in a PC manner its no longer a war that can be won. The reason to avoid war is because war is so ugly it is a last resort to survival.

No matter who is President we are not going to come close to balancing the budget. I would have to ask, how many countries do you think have a truely balanced budget. Maybe a 10% flat tax isn't enough, but my guess, a flat tax is the answer. I am not in favor of cutting social security or medi care: these are programs we have all paid into. I certainly do not look to seeing any military cuts, but I can think of a heck of a lot of social programs that could go bye bye.

Exactly who else where they polling and why does their opinion matter?
It's like this. This is a random phone poll.

So they called 1,261 random landline and cell phone numbers they had.

They found that 1,021 of 1,261 of the adults answering the phone were registered voters (of any party).

They then found that 376 of 1,021 were registered Republican.

Right. War is ugly, I really am not sure why people believe in the concept of politically correct war. What is that exactly?

Is that who we want to be as a country?

As for the poll, not surprised at all.
We all know you are not going to support any Republican regardless. The same as most Republicans will not be supporting a Democrat, certainly not Hillary or Sanders.

Better question, why should I be the one answering question regarding japan?

Go away
It's simple really.

Either you have an issue with this statement or you don't.

Dr. Carson: "Our military needs to know that they’re not going be prosecuted when they come back, because somebody has said, ‘You did something that was politically incorrect..."

I really hope someone asks him whether or not he believes that the Geneva Convention is "politically incorrect."

Did you know that literally hundreds of Japanese civilian women were raped by American servicemen following Japan's surrender in the WW2? Of course not. Never mind what Germans and Russians did to each other's civilian women in WW2. Wars are horrible and only dumb chicken hawks think it's like Gears of War.

Those caught were court marshaled. Carson said they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions during war.

(It's estimated that 1 in 8 soldiers faced charges)

So what. Does that mean I shouldn't educate myself on the other candidates' positions?

If a Republican gets elected, that would still make him or her president of the country I live in.
Only a fool would willfully remain ignorant of the positions of the people that could conceivably lead this country.

That's what I said and it doesn't answer my question. What difference does it make what candidate those not going to vote pick?
