I signed up to help Gary Johnson in the past, and without naming names, I knew a very important person in Libertarian party but that party confuses me, to be completely honest.

I cannot support something I don't fully understand. I like Sanders, but I don't agree with the principles of socialism. That is all.
Fair enough, I just want to add that Sanders' "principles of socialism" is not any different than what the Republican Eisenhower promoted. Most republicans really loved him. Sanders is a social democrat or democratic socialist, like the vast majority of politicians in such highly successful countries as Germany and Sweden. Simply put, he wants to invest in the quality of life of Americans, not just endless wars, corporate welfare and Wall Street bailouts.

I have been voting for 30+ years. Not that it matters, I have yet to get excited about any candidate or party platform.

Anyone have an idea of how many attended Trump's rally tonight? I watched his Dallas rally and tonight's event, and he was much more on point this evening than previously. At the Dallas rally, he spent 15 minutes bragging on himself, but tonight he pretty much knocked that off.

That’s the mistake most people make. They have paid into medicare all their lives and think they will get free healthcare when they retire. They will eventually realize that medicare pays a fraction of what is needed and denies more claims than private health insurance. After paying a lifetime into medicare now they have buy ANOHER insurance policy. So no, the so called medicare for all is not the answer.

For some reason Democrats start loving Republican presidents 25 years after they die. So Eisenhower was a “socialist”? What social program did he start that still lives today?

Well, Trump donated a bit time to help some guy in SD raise some money for his "Veterans Organization". Who are the "Veterans for a Strong America" ..... ? Looks like a Trump type of group .... where's Gary Busey?

You are only partially right comparing Sanders to Eisenhower, not to mention times have changed. You comparing us to Germany and Sweden is like comparing a egg to a tomato. What works in small countries is not the same as what works in countries the size of America. Look at the countries with socialism that are struggling right now, have you checked their unemployment rate for instance or their tax rates?

I've been voting since 1972 and Trump is the first candidate that I have seen people in general be excited about. He is actually addressing the issues that most of us have been trying to get addressed for some years. Issues never before even discussed. His plans are sketchy but a business person never puts all their cards on the table for their adversary to review.

I am also a veteran, not a spouse, a veteran myself. I was in the Air Force with Viet Nam veterans and know some of the issues that they were facing at that time and I worked on an Army post as a civilian for 8 years. I support the health care for veterans. We do not use it ourselves. The one thing that angers me the most is that they say the care is there but it is not. They would better off getting false documents like the illegals and then they could qualify for health benefits, including mental health and prescription drugs without a charge.

I have a friend struggling with this right now. Each year her social security check goes up per month about 1/3 to 1/2 as much as the rate increase on her Medicare and associated stuff. I know she is already having trouble trying to keep her head above water. She worked hard in her life and now everyday she is wondering how she is going to make it.

Group Skews Facts on Obama’s ‘Shameless’ Statements
Two of the groups listed here are veteran's groups: https://www.looktothestars.org/celebrity/donald-trump

The VA is in tragic shape. I still say that if you say a service is available and the taxpayers are paying for it, that it should be available no matter what it is. And, that a veteran or any other citizen should not have lesser benefits than an illegal immigrant with forged documents or their "anchor" babies not entitled to citizenship in the first place!
