Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin has concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign, according to three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Mr. Walker called a news conference in Madison at 6 p.m. Eastern time.
“The short answer is money,” said a supporter of Mr. Walker’s who was briefed on the decision. “He’s made a decision not to limp into Iowa."
Wow. Perry wasn't a big deal because he was never actually competitive in the race. But Walker was actually leading in Iowa at one point
Then he opened his mouth and people got a glimpse of that huge vacuum between his ears. I don't think I've ever seen such a vacant look as Walker's. You get the feeling there's no intelligent life there. Glad to see him go.
Walker dropping out before Gilmore, Jindal, Graham, Santorum, Christie, Huckabee, etc.? How weird. He was in the top 3 at one point.
Mick
His money flow stopped. The unseen hand has moved. The establishment may be cutting off the obvious losers early to try to consolidate around an anti-Trump.
Damn, and I like Walker. He just didn't have any presence at the debates and came across as totally colorless.
Onto Rubio!!
LOL
The guy who just polled 4th.
Been steadily gaining.
Yeah, he should be next.
