...and no, they have nothing to do with Trump. They have to do with Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell, Glenn Beck, Thad Cochran, Chris McDaniel, the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Mark Levin and Megyn Kelly (the latter two not involved in the actual issue, they just provided the air time). The question is whether the other candidates will find out about it and say something about it at the debate.
I have to think one issue didn't come out so far because Rand Paul is too far down in the 2016 race for it to come out at some debate. But we all know Cruz is no one's favorite Senator on Capitol Hill. What if it comes out tonight?
Remember when everyone was scratching their head when Rand Paul went all out for Mitch McConnell, helping McConnell to get re-elected? Hold that memory.
Glenn Beck goes on Kelly's show and tells Kelly the moment he pivoted from supporting Paul to Cruz was when Paul made a deal to back McConnell.
The problem was Cruz made the same deal the exact same time Paul did. Beck just conveniently didn't bother to mention that.
"Both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz agreed to stay out of the mid-term elections for incumbents at the request of Mitch McConnell. Both Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz agreed with congressional leadership (McConnell) to go along with the GOP leadership’s electoral/legislative priorities. The deal was to go along with Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell’s overall objectives, electoral objectives AND legislative objectives, as the GOP entered into the 2014 mid-term election cycle. The agreement gave both Rand Paul and Ted Cruz leadership approvals for their 2016 presidential race. That was the deal."
Mr. Outsider my azz!
But there is more and there's proof:
Do you remember what happened in the 2014 Mississippi Primary? There was a runoff between Chris McDaniel and Thad Cochran. On Levin's radio show Ted Cruz expresses disgust (you can play the short video) with the racist attack ads and phone calls leveled at black voters and who paid for the Democrats to come out and support Thad Cochran in the Mississippi primary runoff? Cruz is seemingly so perturbed that he thinks it should be investigated.
Well, guess who paid for the attack ads, the phone calls and the Democrat support?
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).
And of the Leadership of the NRSC, guess who was the Vice Chairman for Grassroots Outreach?
There is a document and two videos in addition to the article. For the Beck on Kelly video, they tell you at what minute you can skip to. The Levin one is less than 3 minutes. The document is an FEC filing copy that show who paid for the racist attack ads and phone calls aimed at black voters against McDaniel on behalf of Cochran.
As the conservative tree house says:
"The NRSC, the actual Republican Party itself, was funding racist attack ads against it’s own party candidate, Chris McDaniel, in the runoff primary race."

Nice hit piece without the details. You can see why Ted Cruz is so disliked by McConnell and why Ted Cruz finally called him out for lying on the floor of the Senate. Enough can be enough.
It began with the NRSC. McConnell assigned Cruz a spot on the Senate Rules Committee, which normally consists of predominately senior senators. What McConnell wanted Cruz to do was be an ally on the committee against unconstitutional campaign finance reform. Shortly after, which also surprised Cruz, McConnell asked him to join the NRSC as vice chairman. He was surprised because he had been critical of the committee's practices of opposing conservatives in Republican primaries. They sided with Bob Bennett over Mike Lee; Trey Grayson over Rand Paul; Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey and Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio. As we know, Specter and Crist later left the Republican party.
Cruz mentioned to McConnell that if the NRSC had had it's way the four conservatives would have lost their elections. So, McConnell promised they would stay out of the primaries. He told Cruz that he wanted to bring the Tea Party and the grassroots together. We know how that went. LOL! Cruz agreed with that goal and accepted the offer as vice chair, and began helping them raise money.
When it became evident that the NRSC was going to always support incumbents against conservatives in the primaries, Cruz didn't formally resign, but stopped asking donors to support the NRSC. After he left the Committee, the Communications Director, Andrea Bozek, thanked him and acknowledged that he did help to get a Republican majority in 2014.

Cruz was trying to get along with the establishment, and as a result, it just confirmed for him how completely and utterly corrupt McConnell was. That is why Cruz has called McConnell out for being the liar he is. Beck pivoted on Rand Paul because Rand PUBLICLY endorsed McConnell over Matt Bevin.
I am sure that the link you provided is a smear job with no teeth. Trump is THE real insider.
I find it fascinating that Trump idolaters started out saying EVERYONE IN CONGRESS HATES CRUZ...painting him as an outsider. Now that Trump has publicly stated that he will play nice with the establishment, the Trump followers have reversed course and are trying to paint Cruz as an "insider"

Where in the "smoking gun" documents is the proof that the funding was specifically for those robocalls?
Because your EVIDENCE is WRONG! Those robocalls were funded by the Rove SuperPac that Donald Trump helped fund!
These calls are being made by hired affiliates of the Mitch McConnell crowd to Democrats in Mississippi with the hope they will help stop Chris McDaniel from defeating their GOP establishment choice.
Despite Mitch McConnell raising a million for them last week; and despite the entire weight of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on their side; the Thad Cochran camp realizes they are about to get crushed next Tuesday, so the Republican establishment hire’s Democrats in an effort to manipulate the election -get Dems to the polls- and avoid defeat.
In the immortal words of Ron White: "You can't fix stupid"
When you are pandering the Christian vote, looking like a liar doesn't sit well.
Many are uncomfortable with the idea that someone born on foreign soil to a family that chose to relocate out of our country would become POTUS. Others that if someone challenges, they may be wasting their vote.
Cruz was too radical when it came to his cult religious believes. He could not stand the test of time. Facts and figures really were never necessary to see that he would drop like a bag of wet sand.
