And it's Paul Ryan!

Quote:
Charles Koch is confident House Speaker Paul Ryan could emerge from the Republican National Convention as the party’s nominee if Donald Trump comes up at least 100 delegates shy, he has told friends privately.

Koch believes Ryan would be a “shoo-in” at a contested convention, should the campaign get to that point. Though Koch’s wealth gives him significant influence within the Republican Party, it does not necessarily translate into skill in political prognostication. Still, he and his brother David are fond of Ryan. As a source close to the brothers told The Huffington Post, they appreciate the agenda he has pursued as speaker, including opposition to tax extenders and heightened warnings against corporate welfare — positions that contrast with the admittedly vague portfolio pushed by Donald Trump.

This is getting good. Paul Ryan wanted congress to bend to his personal needs just for him to take the speaker job. Now do we think he's willing to make the sacrifices necessary to be POTUS?

Alas, Scalia could have done his part to keep the influence of people like the Koch's down but felt otherwise, wonder why. His heirs can spend the money.

If they had near the influence people claim we wouldn't be having this discussion.

They hold one vote a piece just like anyone else.

I know - I wonder if he can mandate that he keeps all of his weekends free and he won't have to travel as POTUS.

Don't be naive, people like the Koch brothers have a lot more than an opinion.

Scott Walker wants Paul Ryan also.

We need to totally eliminate political contributions.
I think we should ban parties also.
Elections must be 100% publicly-funded, or there will
never be anything more than prostitutes as our representatives.

The establishment has underestimated Trump from the very beginning,, they will underestimate him at the convention, and he will get the nomination if there is an contested convention.

Trump is putting together a very good team to represent him at the convention. Sorry to be a downer to the anti-Trump people, but he will come to the convention ready to fight.

The biggest problem is that the Koch bothers and Soros are on the same page this election. None of them want Trump. They don't care if their side looses; as long as it isn't Trump. And all of this makes us want to vote Trump in that much quicker! We have had enough of these crooked dealing in our lifetime. Ryan is just another one world order, open border, establishment favorite.

Mitch McConnell is in the Koch brothers pocket. His first order of business was to get the Keystone pipeline passed which Koch has a major interest in. Paul Ryan is owned by donors too. He gave everything to Obama on a silver platter. Small wonder they would choose him to be president.
That's what this election is all about. Will the donors continue to run the country or will an outsider get elected and throw a monkey wrench in to the wheels of their gravy train.
