I've posted the article at least twice that says after November and I think it amusing that he somehow magically thinks the audit will be done after the election. But nothing prevents him from releasing previous returns and he doesn't release those either. Odd.

Post the exact unedited quote from Trump that he said he wants to release the returns after the election, and not after the audit.

Nobody's ticked off. I figure he's just following the old saying about holding onto them and having everybody think you're a liar rather than releasing them and offering proof.

I was responding to a Trump Supporter that says he fully supports Trump not paying taxes for the past 25 years, that it shows he knows what he's doing. How more direct is that. And that's fine. I don't rely on social programs and let's be honest, seniors get far more out of them than they contribute so why should we keep funding them? So let's end taxes just like the above Trump supporter said. I fully support it and I'm glad to hear seniors support that as well. Bootstraps!!!

If Trump legally didnt pay taxes for the last 25 years, the problems the tax code, NOT HIM..

He didn't write the tax code and neither did you. He's been in business for about 40 years now ... had he cheated on his taxes, he would've been indicted and jailed if guilty. As a businessman, I'm sure he tasks his accountants to find the best way to pay the least tax. Tough sh*t if the leftist loons don't like it.

no, but i am just one voter and this is just one issue. i'm still free to demand from the candidates and they are free to ignore my demand ( altho the more people i convert to my demand the harder it is for the candidate(s) to ignore ).

do you want to start a separate thread of "can a voter make a demand on a candidate" and see what the input is from the rest of this forum?

Most seniors worked their entire lives and paid into the Social Security and Medicare systems. That why we should keep funding them ...

Not true, I haven't seen anyone except anti-Trump people calling for the returns to be released. I don't think any supporter, of any candidate is going to be swayed by a tax return, and neither are the undecided that are seriously consider a particular candidate.

The whole release the tax returns is nothing more than ammunition for those looking for something to attack a given candidate. That's why the media makes such a big deal out of it, it's free ammo for them.
