Trump donated one million dollars in 1982 to have the Vietnam Veterans Memorial built in downtown New York City.
In 1995 he donated 175,000 dollars so the WW2 veterans could have a parade in New York City to celebrate 50 year anniversary to end of war. He also lent organizers his helicopter to get around city quicker.
