Extremely proud of Hillary for being the first woman to be the presumptive and eventual nominee of a major political party. Was also moved by the people behind her which represent what America is and truly looks like in 2016.
By reaching out to all Americans in an inclusive way she separates herself in a major way from Donald Trump. Also indicated she knows how to and is willing to stand up to a bully - look out Donald.
Best line to be great you can't be small.
Can't wait for her to move into the WH next January and enjoying the moment with my granddaughter!
I thought it was a beautiful speech, and much belated! Wouldn't it be great if girls born in 2017 never knew a world without a woman president?

How about being more proud of having someone who will do the best job as the main criteria, not being "proud" of sex, race, etc. as the main criteria?
Incredible speech. She was really good, natural and confident. Stark contrast to Trump's zombie performance.
She's been getting better at the speeches. Poor Trump. It was pretty obvious that the RNC gave him a speech and said, "read this". I hope (and trust) he gets back to himself soon.
So the Democrats have the first women nominee who's message is, "I'm a woman and I've lied my way to the top, it's worked for me!" Yes, a fine role model.
Seriously, we spent all day talking about how wrong it is to single out a judges Mexican heritage, but somehow this is now suddenly ok.
There is a big difference between saying that someone cannot do their job because of their ethnicity and celebrating the end of only one sex holding the presidency for eons. Women represent over 50 % of the population, and something's wrong when any one sex, male or female, dominates an important, significant role to the exclusion of the other sex.

We also have the first Black American president too. I can't put my finger on why that might have shaked out that way. Hmmm?

And one who might be soon wearing handcuffs
