You did say the hundreds of billions a year is meager. You're not fooling anyone. That money could be used for community centers, better schools, etc for americans

I'm sure there are some police who love busting illegals, but there are many who don't. The illegals will just move to places where the police are less gung-ho. Bottom line is, your fantasy of using the police to do ICE work won't work unless you have close to 100% buy in from every police dept.

Because the government let's in illegals, muslim "refugees", third worlders, and they don't lock up the criminals that should be locked up. Child molesters, rapists, murderers walking the streets.

We have the world's top incarceration rate. You seem to think it's not enough. What percentage of our population will be enough for you?
Because our government locks up drug dealers instead of rapists. And murderers, rapists, and violent people get paroled all the time.
