I just hope that at some point before November the Republican party understands this crisis and finds someone else to represent them. He is a security risk of the highest order. It really has nothing to do w/ his ideas, which are scandalously bad, nor his complete and total lack of ethics, but how do you about support a candidate that is not only unfit to serve but dangerously unbalanced mentally?

Oh, yes! making such replacements is such fun!
Here's another one for you; try replacing "abortion" with "slavery" in any and all pro-abortion arguments. great fun!
Actually, one can replace "trump" with ANY prominent democrat or child of said democrat and get the same results.
Yep, lots of fun!

"I mean you see anybody who dies for their nation, dies for the three of us at this table, made the ultimate sacrifice, but you know for my father, in terms of the Kahn family, it's not about a soldier -- who's an amazing guy. My father even said that during the interview, sounds like he's a really amazing guy," Trump's son said in an interview on "CBS This Morning."
"My father's simple message - it's not an anti-Muslim message, it's [an] anti-terror message," he said.He also questioned why the mother of a Benghazi attack victim, Pat Smith, has not received as much media attention as the Khans even though she spoke at the Republican National Convention.
"Between all the news networks, she got 77 seconds of airtime. The Kahn family has gotten hours and hours of airtime and what's ironic about that was Hillary was the one that left them on the roof in Benghazi. It was Hillary's policy that crippled Libya and Syria and Iraq."

Of course the party of sociopathic liars, who control the media put their lying spin on it and repeat this BS over and over and over and over and over again!!!! Covering up how they paid this Muslim Brotherhood member who prostitutes himself, just like Clinton and cheapen the life/death of his son, but then children don't mean squat to Islamists, that's why it's so easy for them to encourage them to be suicide bombers! Those sociopathic subhuman freaks are incapable of familial love!
The massive amount of attention paid to the Trump/Khan family feud - as opposed to the Benghazi family/Clinton feud - is largely DUE TO TRUMP. Clinton didn't respond to the Benghazi family - and the issue simply faded. Trump on the other hand keeps bringing it up. What do you EXPECT to happen when TRUMP keeps it in the news HIMSELF?

Trump has NO ONE to blame but himself for keeping the issue front and center in the news. He's too damn stupid or egotistical to just shut up and let it go. This is NOT a fight he can win - just as the Benghazi family/Clinton fight is not a fight Clinton can win. The difference is that Clinton is SMART ENOUGH to KNOW that. Trump is clearly NOT.
The guy is a DIMWIT - either that or he's MENTALLY ILL - or BOTH.

A Muslim can be good or a bad person. Cherry picking a good example of a US citizen doesn't prove all Muslims are good.

"There are no good Muslims" and "terrorism has absolutely nothing to do with Islam", are both extremely bad judgments. The problem is you cant separate the good from the bad, hence Trump's proposal makes sense.

Muslims are 1% of US population, yet are competing with 99% of Non-Muslim US population when it comes to terrorism on US soil.

There are 50+ Muslim countries that do not even allow as much a gay pride parade.

As someone who deeply cares about Women, LGBT and Minority rights, I have to say Democrats have messed up once again. After slavery this is their second f up.
Let's start from the bottom of your list:
The continuance of Slavery was fought for by CONFEDERATE DEMOCRATS, be mindful Confederate democrats were for Slave Owners. Confederate Democrats tried to take over the United States Democratic Party as members of the Southern Democrats group. When Civil Rights Bill was passed, it was the (Confederate Minded )Southern Democrats who voted against Civil Rights. When they could not over turn it, they switched to the Republican Party in 1969, hoping to reverse Civil Rights, but what they did not count on was the Northern Democrats taking up the stand to support Civil Rights and push forward, and that left the Former Southern Democrats who had then become Republicans, to over take the Republican Party and they have been trying to roll back, stall and stagnate Civil Rights every since.

Please learn more about Political Science, then one would know these things.

Terrorism is Terrorism, and Terrorist kill 10's and 100's of Muslims EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. They may try to claim the religion as some fictitious cover, but they are not of honor to Muslim or anything else, these are people who like "killing". They have destroyed historical relics, they blow up women and children and anyone else who is in the proximity of their self destructive aims.

The hard core of those who twist and see the aim of the Religion to try and dominate and take over people, is people who are already driven by a madness of ignorance, because no claim can be made that one Honors God, and seeks to dominate the masses and contain them as if they are subjects. That is not Religion, that is Insanity, and trying to hide it under any claim of being Religiously Led, is an evil trying to mask itself as something it is not.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No one told the RNC to put on a convention of anguished people, pushing divisiveness, bigotry and bias and being dominated by a 99.8% Older White Congregation. They chose to be of no diversity, in ethnicity or any other category. They had no message, they had no idea and put forth nothing but speaker after speaker pushing bigotry, anguish, and contempt.
The DNC for the past three Terms has put on Convention that actually has a message, of hope, unity and a showing of full spectrum diversity. They did not spend 4 days talking about what they hate about American and the people. They spent 4 days talking about Unity, Growth, Developments, Programs and goals to help improve this nation and conditions for the American People and working with the Global Community.
That's a risk you take when you become a speaker at a convention that is all about political gain.
If Trump is so horrible, how come we know so many members of the military who are voting for Trump because they will not vote for Clinton?
WE ARE NOT ELECTING THE HOMECOMING KING HERE. This isn't America idol. We need a strong leader, not Mr popularity.
This. I really think that is why Trump is doing as well as he is because he speaks what others are saying and feeling. He is not the most PC guy and says things without thinking.
Muslim-American war hero? Why is it that liberals all need to divide people into groups? That is the ultimate degradation of what every member of the military fights for. They do not go to war or fight for muslim Americans, black Americans, white Americans or catholic Americans.
The serve AMERCIA, not the divided groups you want everyone to be segregated into.
Your comments support segregation of those who serve this country. There are no muslim Americans anymore than there are black or white Americans. There are only Americans.
There it is. The military does not see religion, race, political affiliation etc. You are a soldier first regardless of your MOS (job), and family. MANY of your military members have come to terms that they may die while in service or not come back the same from deployments. Which is why before every deployment they have to update their wills and all that paperwork.
Can't refute your points, except that neither of us are qualified to judge Trump's mental state.
The Republican Party began to veer from traditional values and morals about the time that Limbaugh began the neocon agenda via talk radio. It was just a matter of time before they went full immersion into the gutter.
Did you see General Allen's speech at the DNC? It has not gotten as much press but I thought it was the greatest speech I had heard in a long, long time. Worth taking a look at it, as a vet I am sure you will appreciate it even more than I.
Agree! General Allen gave a great speech at the DNC ! The VFW should also be praised for criticizing Donald Trump.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
At the very least the guy is just plain stupid. It's so dumb for him to keep bringing it up.
Apparently Mr. Trump thinks it matters. Otherwise he would not even talk about this issue.
He only mentioned it because he was asked about it in an ambush interview.
