If you think that Trump has to win the Rust Belt to win, and that the key to the Rust Belt is Pennsylvania, then the last 3 PA polls are killers:

Quinnipiac: Clinton +10%
Susquehanna: Clinton +10
Franklin & Marshall: Clinton +11

RCP Average for Pennsylvania: Clinton +8.8%

I respectfully disagree. Cruz would not win against Hillary. Any other sane Republican would probably be leading in the polls - Rubio, Christie, Kasich ... anyone but not the religious fanatic ugly looking obnoxious personality Canadian born Ted Cruz.

I'm starting to think that maybe PA will be taken off of the map soon. I mean this is actually worse than it looks because Quinnipiac has been the outlier with polls this year. If even they have Trump down that's telling you something. Especially with PA. They simply might be wasting their time there this year.
I am a Pennsylvanian. I follow Pennsylvania politics.

I've posted in other threads my opinion that Donald would be wise to concentrate on other states - the real "swing" states - not PA which is a light blue state.

The fact is PA is trending more and more towards the democrats. Democratic challenger Tom Wolf handily defeated our former Republican governor Corbett a year and half ago. There are significantly more registered Democrats than Republicans in this state.

Pennsylvania hasn't sided with a Republican presidential candidate since 1988 ... that's nearly 30 years ago.

See the registration gap and demographics say it's trending red. This is the common thought anyway. Which is why Trump is trying so hard.

Anyone notice in a 4-way race that Hillary's lead is less, much less in some cases?

RealClearPolitics - 2016 Latest Polls Also note the margin of error.\\

You also need to look at when the polls were conducted since many are still riding the high from last week and just encompasses one day this week.

Polls can say whatever the person/agency taking them want them to say. Remember Bernie Sanders was polling at beating Trump by 10 points almost through the entire campaign season and..........

Donnie's numbers keep getting worse and worse. Electoral college bloodbath if this keeps up.

The NBC/WSJ/Marist makes 4 straight Pennsylvania polls with double digit Clinton leads. The RCP average of PA was already at Clinton +8.8%; this should tip it over to +9 or thereabouts.

Yes, I think it might be time for him to cede the state and spend it elsewhere.
