Kathy Shelton said she couldn't remain silent anymore and came forward publicly - "Hillary made my life a living hell."
Highlights of the article:
'Hillary Clinton is not for women and children,' says Kathy Shelton, 54, who was 12 years old when she was raped and severely beaten by Thomas Alfred Taylor in Arkansas to the point where she was knocked into a coma, required stitches in her genitals, and lost the ability to have kids.
Clinton was the rapist's defense lawyer, pleading him down to 'unlawful fondling of a minor'
Semen and blood found in the unconscious 12 year old in a coma, testing proved that the blood matched Thomas Alfred Taylor, but the blood was temporarily misplaced AFTER it was tested and Hillary was able to cast doubt.
There was also a witness that heard the rape.
The 41-year-old drifter served less than a year in prison
Shelton says she's furious that Clinton has been portraying herself as a lifelong advocate of women and girls on the campaign trail
Clinton accused Shelton of 'seeking out older men' and fantasizing about rape in the case with no evidence to that point and demanded that she undergo a grueling court-ordered psychiatric examination
The presidential candidate later laughed while discussing aspects of the case in a recently-unearthed audiotaped interview from the 1980s
I could have sworn the constitution specifically said everyone deserves legal representation to defend him/herself? Even the most vile human beings on earth deserve a chance to defend themselves. This is the core of our democracy.
Clinton was doing her job at the time. Why blame her for misplaced evidence?
Are you guys actually suggesting anyone who's a suspect of a horrific crime does not deserve legal representation?

Why is she blaming Hillary. She should blame her own lawyer for doing a lousy job defending her. This has nothing to do with being an advocate for women. Hillary was doing her job as a defense lawyer.
Defense lawyers are suppose to be doing everything they can to get the best deal possible for their clients. As much as we hate some of the outcomes out there, do we really want defense lawyers to start not doing this?

Im sure that you meant the prosecuting attorney. That said Hillary did her best to tar and feather the victim...
So much for all victims deserve to be believed. That is unless Hillary is the perps lawyer or it's her husband who is being accused.

Again, Clinton was doing her job as a defense lawyer. That's the job of defense lawyers, to do everything they can to get the best deal for their clients. And as much as we hate some of the outcomes out there, do you honestly want defense lawyers to stop trying to get the best deal for their clients?
Also, this was 30-some years ago. Are you the same person you were 30+ years ago? If anything, this episode in Clinton's life showed she was a very ambitious young lawyer. I thought conservatives love people with ambitions?

Doing her job - fine.
Being flip about the case when someone was damaged, especially the part about the evidence - that a little different.

Oh, get a life. Are you conservatives now against the Constitution? Does the defendant no longer have a right to legal representation?
