From what I seen Democrats almost always have non-white ethic group support then by large margin. From population projection, the percentage of white only group will shrink over the years.

Do you think demographics shift to more racially diverse population is going to start hurting Republics?

Yesterday's Fox New Poll is showing a +46 point lead by Clinton over Trump: 66% vs 20%.

Only 46% Trump will erase that by November. LOL

Interesting.

Four years ago, Fox News Latino was pedding the Hispanic vote at Obama +29 (Obama 59, Romney 30). When the election actually rolled around, it was Obama +44 (Obama 71, Romney 27).

I wonder how badly they're overestimating the Republicans' chances with Latinos this time around?

Hell, the Republicans knew back in 2013 that demographics are slowly killing them. They even produced a long detailed document that could well have been subtitled LET'S STOP BEING THE STRAIGHT WHITE CHRISTIAN MALE PARTY IF WE EVER WANT TO WIN THE PRESIDENCY AGAIN. Then they threw it away and carried on as usual.

Yep, they've got the angry white nationalist vote all sewn up.

Unfortunately for them, that's no longer enough to win.

Sadly yet another fringe group has hijacked the Republican party. Back in the 1980's it was the "moral majority" who were tolerated only because they at least brought votes. Now we have the "angry white male/female" who cannot even do that so am not exactly sure what their goals are.

Oh wait, I forgot these people are an offshoot of the "Tea Party" which turned the caucus into the party of "no" in Congress. Thing is you cannot govern merely by acting like a spoiled toddler.

Probably in the long run all this will be good for the Republican party. Yes, it may lead to years of being in the political wilderness far as the WH is concerned, but once all the "angry" conservatives die off and or simply come to accept this isn't the 1950's anymore a moderate Republican will gain broad support within the party.

The only places this will hurt him for sure are Colorado, Florida, and Arizona. Obviously Colorado looks like it's slipping away from Trump. Arizona is likely not going to Clinton but Florida is a state that he needs to invest in. He simply cannot win without the state. And he cannot win by polling so low with Hispanics.

Yes, you would think after 2012 and really for the past several WH elections the message would have sunk in; the Republican party *needs* Latino-Hispanic votes if it is ever to win the WH again. Once reliable strongholds for that party like California, Nevada and Arizona have large and growing Latino-Hispanic populations. Worse they are mobilizing and realizing just how American politics work, that is the power of a vote.

Like gays the Latino-Hispanic voters have studied African-Americans and aren't willing to make the same mistakes (voting for the same party just because and not getting much in return), Gays got theirs and the LH want the same.

Watch any of the Hispanic television stations, there are tons of various commercials that promote voting.

It is rather ironic that the "angry white" vote is out to get illegals and anti-immigration, when by their actions they are doing everything possible to propel the WH and Congress into the hands of those that will realize their worst fears; an overhaul of immigration laws including some sort of amnesty.

Of course, the trump followers will be here to say that the latino vote is all illegals, and that they will be bussed in to vote by the dems... in 3...2...

If the GOP actually offered policies that mattered to us, then the numbers wouldn't be so lopsided. Having said that, dem party needs to do more to earn our vote.

As long at the GOP continues to refuse to thumb their noses at our immigration laws and won't push socialism over jobs and self-support they will continue to lose the growing non-white population. Kind of sad that our country has reached this point when we use to be a proud working citizenry with respect for the rule of law.
